NVE announces rejection of Davvi wind farm: “Major, irreversible impacts on nature”
The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) has announced that the application to build the Davvi wind farm in Finnmark will be rejected. The reason is that the project is located in the middle of one of the country’s largest contiguous wilderness areas, which is of considerable value both for biodiversity as well as for Sami culture and traditional use.
